CAPPADOCIA, Caesarea-Eusebia. Macrinus, with Diadumenian as Caesar. AD 217-218. Æ (36mm, 27.55 g, 12h). Dated RY 2 (AD 218). Confronted busts of Macrinus right, laureate, draped, and cuirassed, and Diadumenian left, bareheaded and draped / Mt. Argaeus surmounted by a statue of a male deity flanked by star and crescent; at base before, tetrastyle temple between two agonistic urns, each with a palm. Sydenham, Caesarea 507. Fine, brown surfaces. Rare.
