POST-ANCIENT & MEDIEVAL INDIA, Medieval (Central Deccan). Hoysalas of Dwarasamudra. Vishnuvardhana. Circa 1106-1152/6. AV Pagoda (15mm, 4.10 g, 6h). 'Conqueror of Nolambavadi' issue. Deity standing facing on Sardula (mythical lion) right; annulet above; spear or standard to right / śri no/nambavadi/gonda in Kannada. Chattopadhyaya 337; cf. Mitchiner, South I, 202; MNI 706. Good VF, struck with slightly rusty dies.
