Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ Sestertius (33mm, 26.49 g, 11h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 132-135. Laureate and draped bust right / Galley under sail right with five rowers; triton blowing trumpet at prow; acrostolium, signum, and aquila at stern. RIC II 704; Banti 387. Near VF, dark brown–green surfaces, flan crack. Very rare depiction of galley under sail.
