ASIA MINOR. Uncertain, probably Black Sea region. Electrum Ingot (84.94 gms), ca. 6th Century B.C. VERY FINE.
45.7 x 35 mm. "Proto-money". An interesting cast Electrum ingot which we presume was produced in the Black Sea region. RARE to find an entire ingot intact as most were cut into smaller pieces for use in commerce. A variety of similar pieces have surfaced over the past decade or so. Minor deposits, VERY FINE.
