IONIA? EL Stater (14.07 gms), ca. 6th Century B.C. BOLD VERY FINE.
Uncertain. Apparently unpublished. An interesting and VERY RARE issue which is of Ionian or possibly further eastern origin. The only example that we were able to trace appeared in the H. D. Rauch auction of April of 2003 (Lot#159). Lion in fetal position facing right; Reverse: Incuse punches including a crescent shape. Deserving of further research. BOLD VERY FINE.
