HN Italy-1305; SNG Cop-1587. Head of Athena in Phrygian helmet decorated with griffin left; Reverse: Lion gnawing on ram's head right, cicada and control mark above. Lovely even old cabinet toning with some glossy cobalt blue highlights around devices. A very nice example with well rendered detail and dynamic action of the lion feeding. NGC Ch VF, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 4/5.
