Pr-3620. Head of Herakles right wearing lion's scalp in beaded border; Reverse: Zeus enthroned left holding eagle and scepter, bee in left field, monogram and "M" beneath throne. A very handsome lifetime issue with deep relief and exquisite old cabinet toning with some blue and peach hues in deep crevices. Above Zeus' arm is a trio of small scratches garnering the graffito notation from NGC. Perfectly centered and with only mild evidence of handling on the very highest points of relief. NGC Ch AU*, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5 Fine Style. Graffito.
