RIC-147. "NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P" Laureate bust of Nero facing right wearing aegis; Reverse: Triumphal arch hung with wreath surmounted by emperor on facing quadriga escorted on the right by Victory holding wreath and palm and on left by Pax holding caduceus and cornucopiae, soldiers flanking, on left side of arch, niche containing statue of Mars facing holding spear and shield. Some light smoothing present. Good strike with fine style dies. Dark green patina with a pleasing mahogany hue emanates from the portrait and triumphal arch. NGC Ch VF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5. Fine Style. Light Smoothing.
