GERMANY. Saxe-Old-Weimar. Taler, 1587. Friedrich Wilhelm I with Johann III (1573-1602). NGC VF Details--Mount Removed.
Dav-9774; MB-59. First year of mintage for series (1587-94). A bit worn but with good detail remaining. Medium toning with very nice sea foam, cobalt blue and yellow highlights in periphery with some maroon hue to central reverse. Small edge bump at 11 o'clock where the previous mounting must have been. NGC VF Details--Mount Removed.
