ITALY. Venice. Scudo (140 Soldi), ND (1741). Pietro Grimani (1741-52). NGC AU-58.
Dav-1544; KM-583. A lovely example with nearly all white surfaces and without any problems, distracting stains or other marks. Denomination in exergue, clear legends and devices, and with virtually no wear. Some strike weakness evident, though perhaps more attributable to worn dies. Moderate strike doubling seen in the legends, but not appreciably affecting the central devices. A wholesome and impressive example of the issue and sure to please its new owner. NGC AU-58.
Estimate: $500.00- $700.00
