Conjoined busts of Nicholas I and Friedrich Wilhelm III left; Reverse: Two soldiers in medieval armor side embrace while holding flags of their nations, encampment behind. Awarded to participants of the military parade held at Kalish. The fields of this piece were tooled long ago with the surfaces retoned over time. The toning is quite attractive with iridescent blue, green and orange hues. Aside from the field tooling the medal is in quite a nice state of preservation with little sign of circulation or handling. EXTREMELY FINE.
