63.80 mm; 139.37 gms. Struck by the E. H. H. Smith Silver Co. of Bridgeport Connecticut. Waterfront scene with factory smoke stacks in background, surrounded by double triple border the first of which displays a banner of the Bridgeport Board of Trade, the second showing emblems of commerce, industry and technology of the day and the outer ring giving the purpose for the medal being struck which was a dinner honoring the Russian Ambassador to the United States Baron Roman Romanovich Rosen who served in the United States from 1905-11; Reverse: Russian Imperial Eagle at left and US Bald Eagle at right, inscription "130 Years of Friendship". Nice medium bronze toning with some deeper and muted blue hues toward rim. Free of any major contact marks and very well preserved for the past century.
