SWEDEN. 1 Daler Plate Money, 1718.
4.75 x 5.25 in. KM-PM38; AAH-181; BT-C2. (Tingstrom: 269 examples known including 59 pieces from the Nicobar). Type A countermark of 1718 (lion of Gota) applied to the obverse, with full dates on all four corner stamps. One corner stamp slightly off plate. A well made example that has never seen seawater, with pleasing nearly all brown patina. VERY FINE.
