Laureate head of Severus right / Trophy of arms; at base, bound captives on either side. H&J, Nikopolis, 8.14.47.2-4. Varbanov 2618 variant (bust type). A very attractive piece, cleanly struck on a well prepared planchet, with a choice green-earthen patina. NGC Choice XF★ 5/5 - 5/5.
