Augustus (27 BC-AD 14). AR denarius (3.67 gm). Lugdunum, 2 BC-AD 14. Laureate head of Augustus right / Gaius and Lucius Caesars standing facing, each supporting shield set on ground, spears resting against shields; above, lituus and simpulum turned inwards. RIC 210. RSC 43c. Reverse a little off-center, but an excellent portrait and handsome gray toning. NGC AU 4/5 - 5/5.
