Laureate head of Vespasian right / S - C, legionary aquila, the pole ornamented with wreathes, flanked by two signa standards, ornamented with disks and crescents, each set upon a ship's prow. RIC 499. BMCRE 613. RCV 2364. Very rare! Red-brown patina. NGC VF 5/5 - 2/5, Fine Style. The reverse is a revival of a type issued by Galba.
