DIVO ALEXANDRO, radiate bust of Alexander right, slight drapery on far shoulder / CONSECRATIO, lighted altar. RIC (Decius) 98. Scarce! NGC XF 5/5 - 3/5. Severus Alexander is the last emperor to be honored on the "Divi" series of Trajan Decius. Curiously, there is no official indication that he was ever formally deified by the Roman Senate.
