Tokens: It's All in The Numbers, Assortment of 21 pieces which each indicate their circulating value with numerals stretching from "1" to "25". Six displaying a "1" include Canasto issues in different sizes for Francisco (18mm) and Geronima (20mm). Luis Morales "2" has a F V c/m whereas his related "1" did not. An intriguing token of Botica Francesa of "5" Cents has all its many design elements incused; it is reminiscent of some Panamanian and Nicaraguan issues of the same valuation. The appealing 1903 issues of LLINAS are both 24mm brass but one shows "5" and the other "10" (this scarcer value has a c/m). Limon "10" Centavos is like Eklund 2383 with a nice early-style design. An Otto Herrmann "10" seems even earlier. F.N. Millet, represented in other lots as well, appears here with a "10" Cs. Tres Rios' Arnaldo Andre has an ugly zinc "20" while the largest value, "25", is apparently from Heredia's Malaquias Azofeifa / La Sedina with the identifying M A incused into the otherwise vacant reverse field. Quality is mostly typical for such issues and attributions cannot be guaranteed. Ex. Dana Roberts Collection. Sold as is, NO Return.
Estimate: 800-1000 USD
