George I Shilling 1723-SSC MS64 NGC, Royal mint, KM539.3, S-3647, ESC-1176A. "C/SS" variety, though not noted on holder. Handsomely toned and with russet dappling, this near-Gem selection displays well-defined devices, particularly on the King's bust, and vivacious mint bloom that meanders the surfaces. Remnants of the "SS" are visible beneath the the "C" in the upper quadrant, and further add to the charm of this offering.
