George III bronze Medal 1792 MS65 PCGS, by Conrad Kuchler, Pud-792.1.1, Eimer 845, BHM-363. Commemorating the defeat of Tipu Sultan by British forces led by Lord Cornwallis. Obv. Uniformed bust of Lord Cornwallis left. Rev. Cornwallis greeting two sons of Tipu Sultan being delivered to Cornwallis as hostages. Superbly struck in very high relief. The surfaces are nearly mark-free and the fields prooflike.
