Groningen silver Medal 1672 AU55 PCGS, Van Loon III, p.108, 3. 54mm. Struck to celebrate the unsuccessful siege of the city by the Bishop of Munster in 1672. Obverse depicts the city being besieged. Reverse shows the fortifications of the city of Coevorden, which was besieged as well. An intricately designed large-format medal with attractive tone on both sides.
