Luristan bronze Axe, ca. 1000 – 600 BC. A choice Near Eastern bronze axe, ca. 1000 – 600 BC. This fine socketed Luristan example is 5-1/4" long and has a beautifully formed butt end, as well as a bit that is still sharp. In excellent condition, with strong encrustation. Ex Khan estate. Value range: $250 - $400.
