A large and beautiful Egyptian faience amulet of Nefertum, Late Period, c. 664 30 BC, standing upon the back of a lion, wearing lappet wig with false beard and a short kilt. Atop his head is a crown comprised of a lotus flower with a menat (ritual necklace counterpoise) to each side, vertical plinth at his back. H: 4 ¼ (10.8 cm).
