BRUTTIUM, Rhegion. Second Punic War. Circa 215-211 BC. Æ Tetras (23mm, 8.95 g, 9h). Laureate head of Apollo right; palm frond behind / Wolf right; III to right. HN Italy 2562; SNG ANS 793-7. VF, edge split. Overstruck on an issue in the name of the Brettii (cf. SNG ANS 44ff and lot 15 above), with traces of eagle's head and reverse legend visible below the head of Apollo.
