Gordian Æ Medallion of Ephesos, Ionia. AD 238-244. ΑVT·K·M·ANTΩ - ΓΟPΔIANOC, laureate. Draped and cuirassed bust right / ЄΦЄCIΩN KAI, Artemis Ephesia left and Serapis from Alexandria standing right on podium, flanked by Tyche from Ephesos left and Isis right, both leaning against the podium, below the reclining river gods from both cities; Kaystros (Ephesos) left and the Nilus (Alexandria) right, in between the Apis-Bull advancing right.
