INDIA/GREAT BRITAIN/FRANCE: Five money forms (Lettre de Credit Circulaire) denominated £50, £20, £10, 250 Francs and 500 Francs all surcharged "SPECIMEN" along with letters of Indication (two with SPECIMEN ovpt. also) and announcement and instructions for handling these cheque-like money forms, in French mostly, and/or in English. All items with printed pre-dates 'Londres, ce ... 186..', or 'Paris, le .... 186.., and one agreement signed by several London bankers.
