SICILY, unlocated Punic mints. Circa 350-300 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25mm, 16.95 g 7). Head of Tanit-Persephone to right, wearing wreath of grain leaves, triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; to right, thymiaterion. Rev. Horse prancing right before palm tree; to right, Nike flying left, above kerykeion, to crown the horse; below horse, HB in Punic letters. Jameson 910 (same obverse die). Jenkins, Punic 96 (O33/R87). Attractively toned and of beautiful style. Nearly extremely fine.
