CRETE, Gortyna. Circa 300-280/70 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14mm, 2.65 g 12). Protome of a bull to left, his head slightly turned to front. Rev. Head of Europa to right with her hair bound in a roll. Cf. Svoronos p. 163, 47 and pl. XIII, 19. With some deposits as found and with considerable traces of over-striking, otherwise, good fine.
