[ΦΑΙΣΤΟΣ] Herakles, nude, standing facing, turned slightly to the right, holding bow across his waist with his left hand and preparing to swing his club, held in his right, at a serpent on the right, coiled up and striking toward him. Rev. Bull trotting to left. Le Rider pl. IV, 7. Svoronos p. 262, 50 and pl. XXIV, 14. Very rare and with a bold obverse. With considerable deposits of horn silver as found and with a weakly struck reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
