PHRYGIA, Abbaitis (Abbaitoi-Mysoi). 2nd-1st century BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 17mm, 5.87 g 9). Head of youthful Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΜΥΣΩΝ / ΑΒΒΑ Lion skin wrapped around club to right; below right, monogram; all within oak wreath. BMC 8. SNG Copenhagen 5. A lovely, sharp piece with a glossy dark green patina. Extremely fine.

There is some debate over where, exactly, this city is. It is normally thought to be in Phrygia but there are some who suggest it is actually within Lydia.
