PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Arsinoe II, wife of Ptolemy II, died 270 BC. Dekadrachm (Silver, 32mm, 30.02 g 12), Alexandria, struck under Ptolemy II, circa 261/0-253/2 BC (?). Veiled head of Arsinoe to right, wearing stephane; [letter or letters] behind, tip of lotus-tipped scepter in background Rev. Double cornucopia bound with fillet. Cf. Troxell, Arsinoe, Group 2, and p. 42 for a list of controls. Scratches on both sides, otherwise, about very fine.
