Anonymous, circa 225-212 BC. Didrachm or Quadrigatus (Silver, 22mm, 6.60 g 9), uncertain mint. Laureate Janiform head of the Dioscuri. Rev. Jupiter in quadriga left driven by Victory; in exergue, ROMA incuse on raised tablet. Crawford 34/1. Sydenham 64b. Scarce. Beautifully toned and sharp. A remarkably well-preserved example. Minor flan crack and edge flan flaw, otherwise, extremely fine.
