C. Norbanus, 83 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19mm, 3.61 g 11), Rome. C.NORBANVS / LXXXI Diademed head of Venus to right, wearing earring and pearl necklace. Rev. Ear of wheat, fasces bound with an axe, and caduceus. Babelon (Norbana) 2. Crawford 357/1b. Sydenham 739. Nicely toned. Graffito on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
