Rev. III·VIR – R·P·C· Dionysus, holding cantharus and thyrsus, standing left on cista mystica, flanked by interlaced serpents with heads erect. Banti & Simonetti 21 (this coin). RPC 2202. Sydenham 1198. A remarkably well-preserved example with a fine pedigree. Nicely toned and attractive. Good very fine.
