ADLOCVT COH (without S - C) Nero, togate and bare headed, standing left on low platform on right, raising his right hand in act of address and resting his left on side; behind him, praetorian prefect, togate and bare-headed, standing left also on platform; facing Nero are three soldiers, standing in single file right, all wearing parazonia; the two foremost carry standards. In near background is a building, showing two pillars, with sloping roof, and behind it, the wall of the praetorian camp, in crescent shape, with battlements. A beautiful example with a particularly detailed reverse and an impressive pedigree. Slightly rough obverse surface, otherwise, good very fine.
