LUCANIA, Metapontum. Circa 325-275 BC. Diobol (Silver, 13mm, 0.97 g 3). Head of Apollo Karneios to left, wearing ram's horn. Rev. ME[TA] Barley ear with leaf to right, plow on leaf. HN III 1597. SNG ANS 522. A most attractive example of particularly good style. Flan crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
