Gordian III, 238-244. Antoninianus (Silver, 23mm, 4.64 g 6), Rome, 243-244. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian to right. Rev. VICTORIA AETERNA Victory standing left, holding shield set on captive and palm frond with her left hand. Cohen 353. RIC 156. Particularly well-preserved and struck on a broad flan. Extremely fine.
