Aurelian, 270-275. Antoninianus (Bronze, 23mm, 4.93 g 11), Rome, 273. IMP AVRELIANVS AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Aurelian to right. Rev. ORIENS AVG / Q Sol standing facing, his head turned to left, raising his right hand and holding globe in his left; at his feet, captive, wearing oriental dress and long beard slying on his back, raising his left hand. RIC temp. 1660-1662 var. (differing officina marks). An attractive coin with a very detailed reverse. Good very fine.
