Procopius, Usurper, 365-366. Heavy Siliqua (Silver, 20mm, 3.19 g 6), Constantinople. D N PROCO - PIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Procopius to left. Rev. VOT / V within wreath; in exergue, CONS A. Cf. RIC -, cf. 13f (light Siliqua with C•B in exergue). Extremely rare and nicely toned. Very minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.


Apparently unpublished with this mintmark and as a heavy Siliqua, and highly interesting as such.
