D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted an cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and round shield decorated with soldier on horseback riding right and spearing fallen enemy / VOT/ XXX/ MVLT/ XXXXЄ, Constantinopolis seated left on throne, with foot on prow, holding globus cruciger and scepter, and leaning upon round shield set on ground.
