Die von Hardwick vorgeschlagene Spätdatierung in das frühe 4. Jh. ist aus stilistischen Gründen schwer nachzuvollziehen. Die traditionelle Datierung ein Jahrhundert früher soll deshalb hier beibehalten werden.
Hardwick's study of the coinage of Terone (see cite above) places this type among the city's last group of silver issues, which he dates, primarily based on a typological analysis, to circa 400-348 BC. which is on stylistic reasons hard to comprehend.
