JUDAEA, Herodians. Herod IV Philip, with Livia. 4 BCE-34 CE. Æ (14mm, 2.51 g, 12h). Caesarea Panias mint. Dated RY 30(?) of Herod IV (26/7 CE). Draped bust of Livia right / Right hand holding three grain ears; L Λ (date) in left field. Meshorer –; Hendin 1227; Sofaer –; RPC I –. VF, green-brown patina with reddish earthen highlights/deposits. Rare(?).

This type is listed by Hendin for years 30, 34, and 37. On the present specimen, L Λ is present, but the ∆ or Z is not visible. The other references consulted, including RPC, do not list the type for year 30.
