The hero Thessalos, with petasos and chlamys hanging around neck, restraining forepart of bull right by band held around its head / ΛA-Я-Ι, forepart of bridled horse right within incuse square. Lorber, Thessalian pl. 41, 12 (same dies); BCD Thessaly I 1110 (same dies); BCD Thessaly II 153 var. (same obv. die; arrangement of ethnic); HGC 4, 455 (same obv. die as illustration). Good VF, toned.
