John II Comnenus. 1118-1143. AV Hyperpyron (31mm, 4.24 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1122-1137(?). Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing / John standing facing, holding labarum and akakia, being crowned by the Virgin Mary. DOC 2; SB 1939. Near VF, wavy and somewhat crinkled flan. Reverse well struck for issue.
