CELTIC, Iceni. Uninscribed. Circa 65-1 BC. AV Stater (17mm, 5.38 g, 3h). Freckenham Crescents - Phallic Type. Two crescents facing outward with row of pellets projecting from each; star above, triangle of pellets and star below / Horse prancing right; 'phallic' ornament flanked by triangles of pellets above, floral star below. Van Arsdell 620–9; ABC 1450; SCBC 426. Good VF, toned.
