Phoenicia, Tyre AR Half-Shekel. Dated CY 36 = 91/90 BC. Laureate head of Herakles-Melkart right, lion's skin tied around neck / ΤΥΡΟΥ ΙΕΡΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΑΣΥΛΟΥ, eagle standing left with right foot on prow of ship, palm branch over right shoulder, club in left field, Phoenician bet between legs, AN (date) – monogram across fields. DCA-Tyre 497; DCA 921; HGC 10, 358. 6.94g, 24mm, 2h.

Flan chipped between 10 and 1 o'clock (obv.). Good Very Fine, lightly toned with golden highlights.
