Roma standing left, wearing Corinthian helmet and holding sceptre, crowning trophy flanked by a carnyx and shield on each side; above her head, star; to right, ROMA; in exergue, PHLI. Cr. 281/1. B. 18. AR. g. 3.93 mm. 21.00 In excellent condition for the issue, perfectly centred on a broad flan. Good VF/VF. This reverse refers probably to the battle of Ariminum, where, in 223 BC, the consuls P. Furius and C. Flaminius defeated Gauls and Ligurians.
