Oxford plume, carolvs d g mag bri fr et hib rex, short and wide crowned bust left, holding sword and branch, rev. exvrgat devs dissipentvr inimici, declaration relig: prot: leg: ang: liber: par. in three lines on continuous scroll, three plumes above, date and ox below (Schneider 326 same dies; N.2389; S.2735), lustrous and choice, well-detailed example for issue, with reddish gold toning, very rare in this grade, NGC graded AU-58.
