New Kingdom. Circa 1550-1070 BC. Steatite scaraboid (24x17mm). Back in the form of a facing human head. Face inscribed "a royal offering for the ka ('soul' or 'spirit') of the lady of the house, Neferu, possessor of reverence." Large chip. A rare and interesting specimen.
