2nd Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Steatite scarab (17x11mm). Face inscribed with the hieroglyphics for "master" and "stability" above "gold." Crown of Lower Egypt to either side. Area of discoloration on back from ancient mount. Minor chips and cracks. Cf. Rowe 42.
